ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So, do not be hasty with them. We are counting their number (of days). 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: The Beneficent Allah has taken (to Himself) a son. 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
