And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
