Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 Shall We equate the Muslims to the guilty? 35 What has happened to you? How do you judge? 36 Or have you a Book wherein you study? 37 That therein is yours that which ye may choose? 38 Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge? 39 Ask them: "Which of you is able to vouch for this?" 40 Or have they other partners [besides God]? Let them bring forth their other partners, if what they say be true. 41 Remember the Day whereon the shank shall be bared and they shall be called upon to Prostrate themselves, but they shall not be able. 42 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; and indeed they used to be called to prostrate themselves whilst they were healthy. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 And I will give them respite; indeed My plan is very solid. 45 Or do you ask from them a reward, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 Had not Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been cast off on the naked shore, in disgrace. 49 Then his Lord chose him and placed him among the upright. 50 When the unbelievers hear this Exhortation, they look at you as though they would knock you off your feet with their (hostile) glances. They say: “Surely he is afflicted with madness”; 51 although this is nothing but an Exhortation (to goodness) for everyone in the world. 52
