With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
