The Elephant (Al-Feel)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon) before Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the possessors of the elephant? 1 Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, 2 And He sent against them Flights of Birds, 3 Striking them with stones of Sijjil. 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
