Most Auspicious is He Who, if He wills, may make it much better for you – Gardens beneath which rivers flow, and may create high palaces for you. 10 Nay, but they cry lies to the Hour; and We have prepared for him who cries lies to the Hour a Blaze. 11 When it will see them from afar, they will hear the sounds of its raging and roaring. 12 And when, chained in (iron) fetters, they are cast into some narrow space of the Fire, they will call out for destruction. 13 Call not today for a single death but call for death manifold. 14 Say: Is that (doom) better or the Garden of Immortality which is promised unto those who ward off (evil)? It will be their reward and journey's end. 15 Therein abiding, they have all that they desire. It is for thy Lord a promise that must be fulfilled. 16 On the Day when He gathers them with all that they worship, other than Allah, He will say: 'Was it you who misled My worshipers, or did they themselves go astray' 17 They shall 'Glory be to Thee! It did not behove us to take unto say, ourselves protectors apart from Thee; but Thou gavest them and their fathers enjoyment of days, until they forgot 18 (Allah will say): "Now have they proved you liars in what ye say: so ye cannot avert (your penalty) nor (get) help." And whoever among you does wrong, him shall We cause to taste of a grievous Penalty. 19 And all the Noble Messengers We sent before you were like this – eating food and walking in the markets; and We have made some of you a test for others; so will you, O people, patiently endure? And O dear Prophet, your Lord is All Seeing. 20
