The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 Which is bound to happen undoubtedly -- 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is shaken up convulsively, 4 and the mountains crumbled 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 And you (all) will be in three kinds (i.e. separate groups). 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 a large group of the early believers, 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 With goblets and ewers and a cup of pure drink; 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 Except the word peace, peace. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 and spreading shade 30 And water everflowing. 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 And [upon] beds raised high. 34 Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 for the people of the right hand 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
