The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 Nay! he shall most certainly be hurled into the crushing disaster, 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 Which leaps up over the hearts, 7 Verily, it shall be closed in on them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
