۞ And those who do not hope for Our meeting, say: Why have not angels been sent down upon us, or (why) do we not see our Lord? Now certainly they are too proud of themselves and have revolted in great revolt. 21 The Day they see the angels,- no joy will there be to the sinners that Day: The (angels) will say: "There is a barrier forbidden (to you) altogether!" 22 Then We shall advance upon the work which they have done and render it as scattered dust. 23 [whereas] on that same Day those who are destined for paradise will be graced with the best of abodes and the fairest place of repose. 24 And on the Day whereon the heaven shall be rent asunder from the clouds and the angels shall be sent down with a great descending. 25 The real Kingdom on that Day will belong only to the Merciful, and it will be a very hard Day for the disbelievers. 26 On that Day, the wrongdoer will bite his hands and say, "Would that I had walked in the Messenger's path! 27 Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! 28 Assuredly he misled me from the admonition after it had come unto me. Verily the Satan is ever unto man a betrayer. 29 And the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, my people had made this Qur'an the object of their ridicule." 30 And this is how We had appointed guilty people as enemies to every Prophet; and Allah is Sufficient, to guide and to aid. 31 The disbelievers say, "Why has not the entire Qur'an been sent down to this man all at once?" -Well, this has been done to impress it deeply on your mind, and (for the same object) We have sent it down piecemeal by degrees. 32 And they will never bring you an example, but We shall bring you a true narration and better than it. 33 They who shall be gathered prone on their faces unto Hell - those shall be worst in respect of place and the most astray in respect of path. 34

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
