Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the heaven is cleft asunder. 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 watching over you 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
