The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: "The chastisement whose hastening you have been asking for, maybe a part of it has drawn quite near to you." 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Lo! thy Lord will judge between them of His wisdom, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Thou shalt not guide the blind out of their error neither shalt thou make any to hear, save such as believe in Our signs, and so surrender. 81 ۞ And when the word is fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth to speak unto them because mankind had not faith in Our revelations. 82
