Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)
52 verses, revealed in Mecca after Kingship (Al-Mulk) before The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ The Reality (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)! 1 What is the Inevitable Calamity? 2 And what will make thee realise what the Sure Reality is? 3 The Thamud and 'Ad denied the consequential calamity. 4 As for Thamood, they were destroyed by the Screamer; 5 And as for 'Aad they were destroyed by a wind, furious, roaring. 6 He made it rage against them seven nights and eight days in succession: so that thou couldst see the (whole) people lying prostrate in its (path), as they had been roots of hollow palm-trees tumbled down! 7 Then seest thou any of them left surviving? 8 And Fir'awn and those before him and the overturned cities committed sin. 9 They defied their Lord's messenger, so He seized them with an ever-tightening grip. 10 And when the waters rose (high) We carried you in the sailing (Ark), 11 In order to make it a remembrance for you, and in order that the ears that store may remember. 12 So when the Trumpet is blown with a single blast 13 And the earth and the mountains shall be borne and the twain shall be crushed with a single crash. 14 then, on that day, the Terror shall come to pass, 15 when the sky will be rent asunder, the grip holding it together having loosened on that Day, 16 And the angels shall be on the sides thereof; and above them eight shall bear on that day your Lord's power. 17 The Day whereon ye shall be mustered nothing hidden by you shall be hidden. 18 Then, as for him who is given his record in his right hand, he will say: Take, read my book! 19 I was certain I'll be given my account." 20 so he will live in a state of Bliss 21 In an elevated garden, 22 with its fruits within easy reach. 23 (And told:) "Eat and drink to your fill as reward for (good) deeds you had done in days of yore." 24 And as for him who is given his book in his left hand he shall say: O would that my book had never been given me: 25 “And had never come to know my account!” 26 I wish death had put an end to me. 27 "My wealth has not availed me, 28 and my authority has vanished.” 29 (It will be said): 'Take him and bind him. 30 Then throw him in the blazing Fire. 31 Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits insert him." 32 for he did not believe in Almighty God, 33 And urged not on the feeding of the wretched. 34 Therefor hath he no lover here this day, 35 Nor food other than suppuration (filth) 36 which no one will eat except the sinners. 37

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
