The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down a Sign to them from heaven, so their necks will be humbled to it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
