And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
