Indeed for the pious, with their Lord, are Gardens of Serenity. 34 Should We treat the true believers and the wrongdoers alike? 35 What ails you? How ill you judge! 36 Or have you a Book wherein you study? 37 Surely therein you shall have whatever you choose! 38 Or, have you an oath from Us that stretches to the Day of Resurrection (if so) you shall surely have what you judge! 39 Ask then, which of them will stand thereof a surety? 40 Or have they other partners [besides God]? Let them bring forth their other partners, if what they say be true. 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not. 44 And I will give them respite; indeed My plan is very solid. 45 Do you ask for any compensation from them that they are burdened with want? 46 Or do they have any knowledge of the Unseen which they are now writing down? 47 Wait patiently for your Lord's judgement; do not be like the man who, having been swallowed by a whale, called out in distress. 48 Had not grace from his Lord reached him, he had surely been cast into the wilderness in a plight. 49 And his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 And lo! those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they hear the Reminder, and they say: Lo! he is indeed mad; 51 But it is not except a reminder to the worlds. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
