No! By the moon 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 Warn the men. 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 in Gardens they will question 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 "Till death overcame us." 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
