Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 Till a limit known? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
