Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 and removed your burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
