The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 but he whose deeds weigh light in the Balance 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
