Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Therefore the ones whose scales prove heavy – they are the successful. 102 whereas they whose weight is light in the balance - it is they who will have squandered their own selves, [destined] to abide in hell: 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
