3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
