Have you not seen those who dispute with respect to the communications of Allah: how are they turned away? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When the fetters and the chains shall be on their necks; they shall be dragged 71 In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire. 72 and then they will be asked, "Where are those whom you associated [with God]?" 73 Beside Allah? They say: They have failed us; but we used not to pray to anything before. Thus doth Allah send astray the disbelievers (in His guidance). 74 (And it will be said): 'That is because you rejoiced on earth in things of which you had no right, and were very happy. 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. 78
