Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Those who disbelieve and bar from the way of Allah, Allah will cause their deeds go astray. 1 And those who believe and work righteous works and believe in that which hath been revealed unto Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He shall expiate their misdeeds from them and shall make good their state. 2 This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: Thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes. 3 So when you confront the disbelievers, strike at their necks; until when you have slain them in plenty, tie them up firmly; then after that, you may either release them as a favour or take ransom, until the war lays down its ordeal; this is it; and had Allah willed He Himself could have taken revenge from them, but this is to test some of you with others; and Allah will surely never waste the deeds of those who were killed in His way. 4 He will guide them and amend their condition 5 And admit them to Paradise, which He has made known to them. 6 O you who believe! if you help (the cause of) Allah, He will help you and make firm your feet. 7 As to those who disbelieve, perdition lies in store for them and Allah has reduced their works to nought. 8 That is because they are averse to that which Allah hath revealed, therefor maketh He their actions fruitless. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled through the land and seen the terrible end of those who lived before them? God brought upon them utter destruction and the disbelievers will also face similar perdition. 10 This is so for God is the friend of those who believe while the unbelievers have no friend. 11
