The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the morning brightness 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
