Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two in accordance with the requirements of truth and wisdom. The Hour is surely coming. So overlook [their faults] with gracious forgiveness. 85 Indeed your Lord only is the Great Creator, the All Knowing. 86 And certainly We have given you seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the grand Quran. 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 And say: "I am a distinct warner," 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 by your Lord, We shall question them all 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
