When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 So when they had reached the junction of the two (rivers) they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, going away. 61 And when they had gone further, he said unto his servant: Bring us our breakfast. Verily we have found fatigue in this our journey. 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 There they met one of Our servants who had received blessings and knowledge from Us. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 For how can you patiently bear with something you cannot encompass in your knowledge?" 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
