O ye messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right. Lo! I am Aware of what ye do. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 So leave them in their confusion for a time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 We hasten in good works for them? No, they are not aware. 56 Verily those who for fear of their Lord are in awe. 57 who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 and those who give what they give, their hearts quaking that they are returning to their Lord -- 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are covered (blind) from understanding this (the Quran), and they have other (evil) deeds, besides, which they are doing. 63 Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice. 64 Cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us. 65 My signs were recited to you, but upon your heels you withdrew, 66 Stiff-necked, discoursing thereof by night, reviling. 67 Have they not pondered the matter, or did that come to them, which did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or did they not recognise their apostle, and rejected him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 If truth had followed their whims and desires, heavens and earth and all that lives in them would have been brought to ruin. Rather We have brought them their Reminder. Yet they keep avoiding their Reminder. 71 Do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them? So the reward of your Lord is the best; and He is the Best Provider of Sustenance. 72 You are surely calling them to the right path. 73 but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are ever prone to deviate from the Right Way. 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 (They are such) that We seized them with chastisement (and yet) they did not humble themselves before their Lord, nor do they entreat 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
