Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for an appointed term? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
