The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the heaven with its impregnable castles; 1 by the Promised Day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 It is He who creates all things and causes them to return. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 – the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 Doer (without let) of all that He intends. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 Aye! it is a Recitation glorious, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
