The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
