And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
