And indeed We rescued the Descendants of Israel from a disgraceful torture. 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing. 33 Indeed these disbelievers proclaim; – 34 "There is no dying for us but once; and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring us our fathers, if what you say is true' 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those who were before them whom We destroyed? Indeed they were sinners. 37 And We did not create the heavens and earth and that between them in play. 38 We created them not except for just ends: but most of them do not understand. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 The day on which, no friends will benefit each other at all, nor will they be helped. (Except those who are pious – see verse 43:67) 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
