Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: I do not control for you evil or good. 21 Say: 'None shall protect me from Allah, and other than Him, I will find no refuge, 22 (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time. 23 [The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number. 24 Say: 'I do not know whether that which you are promised is nigh, or whether my Lord will appoint for it a space; 25 "(He Alone) the All-Knower of the Gha'ib (unseen), and He reveals to none His Gha'ib (unseen)." 26 "Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 27 So that He may know if they have delivered their Lord's messages. He comprehends all that has been given them, and keeps count of everything. 28
