Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
