No, by the moon! 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 That (Hell) is surely one of the greater (signs), 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
