Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ HAVE WE NOT opened up thy heart, 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 Which had broken your back? 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 and let thy Lord be thy Quest. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
