Indeed, those whom the angels take [in death] while wronging themselves - [the angels] will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." The angels will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious [enough] for you to emigrate therein?" For those, their refuge is Hell - and evil it is as a destination. 97 As for the really weak and oppressed men, women, and children who were not able to find any means of obtaining their freedom or of having the right guidance, 98 as for them, God may well efface their sin - for God is indeed an absolver of sins, much-forgiving. 99 ۞ Whosoever leaves his country in duty to God will find many places of refuge, and abundance on the earth. And he who leaves his home and becomes an emigre in the way of God and His Messenger, and death overtake him, is sure to receive his reward from God; for God is forgiving and kind. 100
