Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

The excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying) 1 Until you come to the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you shall be asked about the delight (you indulged in, in this world)! 8

Almighty God's Truth.
