O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), did you not see how did your Lord deal with the People of the Elephant? 1 Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, 2 And sent against them birds, in flocks, 3 Which pelted them with stones of baked clay, 4 and caused them to become like a field of grain that has been eaten down to stubble 5
