And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 They used to hew out houses from the mountains and lived in security. 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 And what they earned did not avail them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Lo! Thy Lord! He is the All-Wise Creator. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated, and the mighty Koran. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 Like (those) We had sent to those schismatics who slandered their Books 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 About their deeds. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 So exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate [to Him]. 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
