The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
