And (remember) when your Lord said to Moosa, “Go to the unjust people.” 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 He said: O my Lord! surely I fear that they will reject me; 12 And I shall be embarrassed, and my tongue will not speak plainly, therefor send for Aaron (to help me). 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they will kill me. 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 Then come to Firon and say: Surely we are the apostles of the Lord of the worlds: 16 Let the children of Israel go with us!'" 17 [Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 So I fled from you when I feared you, then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me of the apostles; 21 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 Fir'awn said unto those around him: hear ye not? 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients.' 26 Said he: Most surely your Apostle who is sent to you is mad. 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 Pharaoh said: "If you take any god other than me, I will certainly make you one of those (who are rotting) in prison." 29 Said Moosa, “Even if I bring to you something clear?” 30 He (Pharaoh) replied: 'Show us your sign, if you are of the truthful' 31 So (Moses) threw his rod, and behold, it was a serpent, plain (for all to see)! 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it was white to the beholders. 33
