Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 on a straight path, 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
