3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 Peace be unto Noah among the peoples! 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 Thou hast already fulfilled the vision. Lo! thus do We reward the good. 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
