Do you not consider those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah - how are they averted? 69 Those who deny the Book (this Quran), and that with which We sent Our Messengers (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone sincerely, and to reject all false deities and to confess resurrection after the death for recompense) they will come to know (when they will be cast into the Fire of Hell). 70 When, with (iron) collars and chains around their necks, they will be dragged 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76 Wherefore persevere thou; verily the promise of Allah is true; then whether We let thee see a part of that wherewith We have promised them, or whether We cause thee to die, unto Us they all will be caused to return. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
