The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 like water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad SAW); Verily, they (too) are waiting. 59
