Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 And the clouds bearing a load. 2 and the smooth runners 3 And those that distribute and apportion by Command;- 4 Undoubtedly, the promise you are given is surely true. 5 And verily the Requital is surely to befall. 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 Woe to the liars 10 who are steeped in ignorance and heedlessness. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 (And told:) "Taste your punishment. This is what you were trying to hasten." 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 And in your own souls (too); will you not then see? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
