The Sun (Al-Shams)
15 verses, revealed in Mecca after Destiny (Al-Qadr) before The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sun and its heat and brightness, 1 and by the moon when she follows him, 2 by the day, when it displays it, 3 And [by] the night when it covers it 4 by the heavens and that (Power) which established them, 5 By the Earth and its (wide) expanse: 6 By the soul, and That which shaped it 7 and inspired it to lewdness and godfearing! 8 those who purify their souls will certainly have everlasting happiness 9 And he who confines it will surely come to grief. 10 Thamud belied in their exorbitance. 11 When among them the great wretch arose, 12 So Allah's apostle said to them (Leave alone) Allah's she-camel, and (give) her (to) drink. 13 But they cried him lies, and hamstrung her, so their Lord crushed them for their sin, and leveled them: 14 He did not fear the consequences. 15
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
