The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One. 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In extended columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
