۞ People, you are always in need of God and God is Self-sufficient and Praiseworthy. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 that is not difficult for God. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 And neither are darkness and brightness! 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 Nor are the living equal with the dead. Lo! Allah maketh whom He will to hear. Thou canst not reach those who are in the graves. 22 You are purely a Herald of Warning. 23 We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner, there is no community to which a warner has not come. 24 And if these disbelievers deny you, those before them had also denied; their Noble Messengers came to them with clear proofs and scriptures and the bright Book. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved, and how terrible was My denial (punishment)! 26
